All About Me
Hi everyone! My name is Lauren Scofield and I'll be your child's kindergarten teacher this year. I myself grew up in Loudoun County and attended Ball's Bluff Elementary School, Harper Park and Belmont Ridge Middle Schools, and Stone Bridge High School! I went to James Madison University for undergrad and graduated from there in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Anthropology and a minor in statistics. For the next two years I worked as a substitute teacher in Loudoun County Public Schools and as a respite caregiver for a child with autism. After those two years I decided to take the leap and become an elementary school teacher! I graduated from University of Virginia's Curry School of Education in 2016 with a Masters of Teaching. So here I am! I am so excited to get to know, teach, and explore with your children! In my free time I love to take walks with my black lab mix named Robbie, get lost in a great book, and spend time with family and friends.
